Janelle Rendon@janelle.rendon 🎂 KIDS BDAY PARTY IDEA 🎂 This year we switched it up and decided to throw Adeline and Jacob a glow dance party at the house. We chose a Friday night and invited entire families, instead of just the kids’ friends. Served pizza for dinner. Cookie cake. Drinks in coolers out back. We moved the furniture out of our main living space 😅 and set up a dance floor. We used our tv stand as a DJ booth and asked a friend to be our unpaid DJ with a @spotify list we pulled together (thanks @matt.paluska). We bought black lights and party lights and a disco ball from @amazon. Asked everyone to wear neon or white. Set a later start time so it would be dark. We got light up party props and decorations from @temu. We had some glow-in-the-dark face paint markers that were a hit. We did the freeze dance and limbo and a hula hoop contest 🪩 It was low key in terms of cost, medium key in terms of effort, HIGH key in terms of fun 🙌🏼 Unfortunately CLUB RENDON was open for one night and one night only.
