Nazli Zeynep Karabulut@nazlizeynepn Blizzard Warnings are now in effect for all of New Jersey, NYC, and Long Island as a powerful winter storm impacts the region Sunday into Monday. Snow will be widespread across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. The official NWS forecast supports 1–2 feet of snow across much of the warned area, with locally higher amounts possible. Whiteout conditions, near-zero visibility, and hazardous to impossible travel are expected at times, especially during heavier snow bands and periods of strong wind. Inland areas may still see significant snowfall with dangerous travel, while coastal areas face the most severe conditions overall. Stay updated and avoid travel if possible. 2/22/26 5 a.m. update
