@this.is.mallory asks, what it would take to change my mind about raw milk. If all of a sudden we started seeing several deaths a year linked to raw milk, I would question why that was happening suddenly after a span of about 75 years with only a handful of deaths reported. Also, if raw milk acquired TB became prevalent in the US, I’d definitely re-evaluate if it were still the best choice for my family. What about you, Mallory? What would make you question long-held beliefs? Did you know that there actually have been studies done on vaccinated versus unvaccinated children that found significantly better health outcomes in unvaccinated children? One, in particular, done by Dr. Marcus Zervos, MD of the Henry Ford Health Institute was completed but never peer reviewed or published despite the fact that it closely followed a CDC commissioned white paper that clearly lays out how to study vaccine safety using retrospective/observational methods. Isn’t that odd? If you want to learn more about it, watch @aninconvenientstudy by @delbigtree

@brokenmarbles77 God gave me milk to drink, It is human corporate owners who ruin all things with money as their main objective. That is all the facts I need to know in making my decisions so give me raw milk and leave my food alone!!

@pelicanparents_la We don’t have “beliefs” in science and medicine, we have facts that are generated by scholarship, rigor, and the execution of the scientific method that are then able to withstand the scrutiny of review by an independent body and are also reproducible. Hope that helps!

@carnivorelifestylemd 🙌🙌 we use raw milk to make yogurt as part of regular routine. There are many more things to be scared of than the "germs" in raw dairy.

@breaking_bear 💯

@jesse.horan91 👏👏🔥🔥

@zannab55 Love 💕. Keep up your amazing work 🙌❤️

@remybites The data is skewed because the majority of people don’t drink raw milk (bc it’s dangerous and gross lol). So you have a small amount of people drinking it, but a large fraction of those people get sick. Also since you want to mention vaccines for some reason, we do have vaccinated vs unvaccinated data. Look at how many children died from the diseases because they were unvaccinated. And you can’t exactly study those children’s symptoms because, well, they’re no longer here… AND you just said “I know it’s anecdotal” okay my parents have anecdotes of never using seatbelts growing up and they were fine. That doesn’t mean we should stop using car seats for kids now!! Because we know better!!!! Jfc girl have you ever taken a statistics class?? Even an intro to statistics???

@jules_5217 Well tell this to the mother in NM who drank raw milk in pregnancy, contracted listeria in which infected her growing fetus.

@jules_5217 Uncontrolled asthma is so dangerous and kills children.

@jamiebhenshilwood Anecdotes don’t count as data, unless it confirms my own bias 🤡

@john.k.quinn The comparison doesn't work. To be able to understand how many people would get ill from drinking raw milk, you'd have to have the same number of people drinking raw milk as are vaccinated. Then you could compare percentages.

@ctripoli13 Everyone knows there are (highly unlikely) risks to getting a vaccine. There are databases of this sort of thing. You need to then go a step further and compare the risk with the population-level benefit, measured in reduced deaths. It's the same with raw milk. I don't think you're going to drop dead from drinking it. I also don't think you're going to die in a car crash due to drunk driving. But to what end?

@la_sharks_fan Using the myocarditis example from the covid vaccine is not too smart. While that data was proven to be flawed and not necessarily only associated with the vaccine and it was also shown that in almost all cases it was temporary.

@geniya_04 Studying one hospital isn't enough to come to any strong conclusions. For that to have any credibility, the study would have to be replicated several times in different environments and all of those replicated studies would have to come to the same conclusion as the original study.

@this.is.mallory Hi Ann! Just wanted to share that I’ve posted a video in response to this where I talk about how I make health decisions for myself. This isn’t something I typically talk about, my content is mostly about truth in advertising and influencer culture, but I do really appreciate these exchanges and the space to have them.
