tricia @ the cabbage club@the.cabbage.club elevating my usual vanilla latte with a sea salt cream 🫶🏼 personally i think this is great for those who might currently be bored of the usual latte, and like a good mix of sweet & savory flavours. you just gotta be careful with the amount of sea salt that goes in because an overly salted drink… is not the best way to start the morning 🤡 full recipe ⬇️ vanilla syrup — vanilla bean pods — sugar — vanilla paste (optional) 1. dissolve your sugar and water in a saucepan over low to medium heat in a 1:1 ratio. 2. once fully dissolved, add 1 sliced vanilla bean pod (i get mine from redman) into the mixture, scraping the insides and adding that into the mix 3. simmer for 8-10 minutes before taking it off the heat 4. [optional] add 1-2 tsp of vanilla bean paste at the end, after pan is off the heat. optional for if you want a stronger vanilla flavour sea salt cream — 5-10ml vanilla syrup — 0.5g sea salt — 15ml heavy cream — 10ml fresh milk 1. add your vanilla syrup, sea salt, fresh milk, and heavy cream into a glass jar 2. froth until you get the desired texture! it should be light and fluffy and easy to pour 3. you should be able to slightly adjust the ratios and measurements to your liking and achieve similar results nonetheless! i even substitute milk with oat milk and it works fine 🫶🏼 vanilla latte with sea salt cream — double shot of espresso (nutty notes are recommended), approx 36ml — vanilla syrup — ice — 150ml of your milk of choice — 20-30ml of sea salt cream 1. layer your ice and milk in a glass 2. stir in your vanilla syrup 3. pour the espresso over the milk 4. add the cream on top (you’ll know the cream texture is just right when it floats nicely on the entire drink without immediately sinking to the bottom!) vanilla latte | sea salt latte | salted milk | coffee at home | easy home coffee recipes | at home barista | making coffee at home | iced latte recipes | morning coffee routine | morning coffee at home | slow living | home cafe | cozy vibes only #coffeelover #coffeetime #morningcoffee #vanillalatte #seasaltlatte #homecafe #coffeeislife #coffeeculture #coffeeplease #mydailycoffeemoment #dailycoffee
