Off Grid Island 🌲@off.grid.island Was great having James @wildhomesteadca on the island! Got a lot done and was a huge help in making sure I fixed my mistakes properly. I made the initial notch depth the same depth as the half cut log below, but because they were skinnier than the larger first layer of logs, this made the notch too small. When we put the second layer on, we noticed the gap was about as thick as the log above, meaning we could physically not notch the log. Fell a little behind on the updates, but it’s been a busy month on the island and have a lot of videos on the way! #island #offgridisland #logcabin #finland #offgrid #outdoors #wood #woodworking
