Scroll Productive | Vaniyambadi@scrollproductive It has been 58 years since 1967. That’s 58 years since Bazm-e-Nau was formed in Vaniyambadi and Sadly, most of us aren’t even aware. Bazm-e-Nau was a small team in Vaniyambadi founded by our forefathers. The name itself explains the spirit: “Bazm” means a gathering and “Nau” means new, a new gathering. In 1967 it was started by Janab Mohammad Islam Ayyubi to organize meet ups, give young poets a stage, and to promote Urdu literature. They held regular gatherings, invited poets from nearby cities and over the years hosted 300+ mushairas. About 140 poets are linked to this journey, and many found their voice through this platform.
