Bianca Beltrán@biancalbeltran My relationship with money has had its ups and downs. As the daughter of an immigrant and a first generation American, my family has experienced times of survival, and starting over with very little. I’ve had credit card debt, student loan debt, and there have been times I haven’t had enough cash to buy gas or food. I stayed with family and rented rooms early in my career because I couldn’t afford an apartment. In the past, talking about money has been tough because I felt shame and embarrassment, but I’ve come to learn it’s not just about the choices we make—it’s also about access to information, resources and support. Being in this position to help people learn about saving money, making their money go further and protecting their money means so much to me because of my own financial journey. I’m learning a lot through our consumer reporting and I’m excited to share it with you. Let’s grow together.
