Erik Schwab@saltyvisionz IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!! This was taken 2 days ago at Ditch... about 200m off the beach. Last month, I posted a very similar video, which has hundreds of comments saying it was A.I... (I swear it is not!). What I do know is that I hadn't seen a large bait ball disappear that quickly before. Insanely fast. Turns out, there's always something bigger out there, and even though tuna do not eat sharks, the sharks still get spooked when they make aggressive moves! I slowed down the tuna part of the video ALOT, but that tuna was moving at an insane speed! The breakdown: shark cruising through large baitball not causing much trouble; large tuna comes up from below causing the baitfish to scatter and, in turn, spooking the shark, causing it to dive to the depths. That's my assessment... The shark isn't directly scared of the tuna, but when something larger comes from the depths, you probably don't want to be the only animal left at the surface!

@susana_martin_72 I am a diver, and not scared of sharks, but huge tuna are mean and they move so fast and brazenly close to you, they are amazing creatures, but they do scare me 😂

@chrisd_bjj IMO The fast motion of the bait fish spurred the shark into predation, chasing them as the tuna struck from below. Two hunters working in synchronicity rather than one afraid of the other imo.
