@snow4life31 There’s more factors than just the NAO. The WPO, EPO, & MJO are also very important. Too hard to predict how that goes this far in advance. But analog years would suggest a cold winter just like last winter was. Especially considering it looks like a weak La Niña or a cold-leaning neutral. Moderate to strong La Ninas tend to be warmer, unless you’re in the upper Midwest.
@simpletonjack Ryan can you make a video explaining the weather patterns we experienced in 2016-2018? I would like to know why our winter started early and in stayed cold for weeks on end. I remember the polar vortexes....
