Ashley | Suburban Homestead@ashleyandtheapron This Cheesy Fondue recipe makes for the ultimate winter night in 🫕🧀 featuring my favs @sonomacheese . #sponsored The flavor combination is unreal with a nice smokiness and a bit spicy but not too hot because you know your girl cannot handle too much heat LOL! 2 Cups Sonoma Garlic Jack, grated 2 Cups Sonoma Hot Pepper Jack, grated 2 Cups Sonoma Smoked Hot Pepper Jack, grated 2 Tablespoons cornstarch 1 Clove Garlic, sliced in half 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar 1/2 teaspoon Dijon Mustard 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg Serve with: Broccoli Cauliflower Pretzel bites Crusty bread Apples Pears Toss grated cheese with cornstarch or flour, then set aside. Rub the inside of your fondue pot all over with the garlic clove (discard when done). Place your fondue pot or cast iron pan onto he stove over medium heat. Add the broth and vinegar and bring to a simmer. Slowly add a handful of cheese in at a time, stirring continuously so it gradually melts and doesn’t burn. Add the nutmeg and mustard and stir again. @brunocrivelli Oh no no no, the Swiss in me is hurting 😂 what have you done to fondue! Where have all these ingredients come from? It’s vacherin fribourgeois and gruyère dissolved in white wine after having scraped the inside of the pot with garlic, that’s it!
