Janelle Rendon@janelle.rendon We took the family on the @austinsteamtrain’s North Pole Flyer over the weekend 🎅🏻 If you and your family like the Polar Express story and movie, keep reading ⬇️ A few things to know: - The train is out of Bertram, TX (about 45 minutes outside of Austin). - It was a 2 hour ride, and we did not get off anywhere. - Our tickets were around $60 with fees. - They had lots of activities for the kids including caroling, hot chocolate, cookies from Mrs. Claus, a balloon artist, a story being read, coloring pages and letters to Santa. They spaced these activities out throughout the ride, which kept the kids entertained and excited. - Santa visited every train car and gave each family some dedicated attention! He also gave each child a wooden train whistle as a souvenir 🚂 - There is a concession stand with treats/snacks for purchase. - There is a free parking lot nearby. - They recommended getting there 45 minutes early, but I think 30 minutes would be plenty. - Lots of families dressed up! @marcus__rendon The North Pole Flyer was such a fun and enjoyable experience for parents, grandparents, and the kids! Lots of activities made the time fly. And don’t forget the delicious and unlimited hot cocoa! 🚂🚂🚂👏🙌👏
