The Berner Bunch | Rescue Bernese Mountain Dogs@thebernerbunch Everyone needs a friendship like Weller and Annie’s 🥹❤️ When I post a video like this, I feel I need to mention that Weller was an only dog for over a year after our previous senior rescue berner, Gita, passed away. He was totally fine being an only dog and his needs were completely met. I adopted Annie when I felt I was ready to add another one, not because I felt Weller “needed” another dog. Weller absolutely adores Banana and most definitely enjoys having a companion in the house again, but he was perfectly content as an only dog too. Not every dog wants or needs a second dog, and that’s ok! Please know that getting a second dog will most likely NOT fix any separation anxiety or behavioral problems. ____________ Both Weller and Annie were adopted through an incredible 501c3 non profit bernese mountain dog rescue organization, BARC, Inc (@barcberners). #rescuedogs #bernesemountaindog
