About Wsl Raglan
World Surf League announced Raglan, New Zealand as the fourth stop on the 2026 Championship Tour, marking the first combined men’s and women’s elite event ever held in New Zealand. The New Zealand Pro ran May 15-25 at Manu Bay’s left-hand point break, replacing Jeffreys Bay on the calendar.
The event featured the top 36 men and 24 women, with New Zealand wildcards Billy Stairmand and Maya Mateja among the locals competing. Supported by the New Zealand Government’s Events Attraction Package, it aimed to boost Waikato tourism and showcase Raglan globally.
