About Who Plays Jesus In The Chosen
Jonathan Roumie portrays Jesus in the television series The Chosen. Creator Dallas Jenkins said he only had Roumie in mind for the role after they previously worked together on a short Easter film. Roumie has played Jesus since the 2017 pilot and continues as the star through the current sixth season, which depicts Jesus’ final hours leading to the crucifixion.
