It stars Austin Abrams as Bryan, a medical courier who fights through an outbreak of infected monsters in Raccoon City. The film premiered in Los Angeles on September 15 and was released theatrically in the United States on September 18, 2026, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
The story follows Bryan during a snowy night in Raccoon City as a viral outbreak spirals into chaos. Zach Cherry, Kali Reis, and Paul Walter Hauser appear in supporting roles, with the plot set parallel to the events of Resident Evil 2 but in a modern era.
