About Capecodbeachchair
Cape Cod Beach Chair Company was founded in 2002 by Justin Labdon in Harwich, Massachusetts, after he grew frustrated with flimsy beach chairs that rusted and faded quickly. The company hand-assembles durable wooden chairs from oak, maple, and teak, with customizable embroidery for names, dates, or designs. Products range from the Nauset Recliner to children’s chairs and backpack styles, and are shipped worldwide to resorts, yachts, and beach homes.
The workshop operates from a 130-year-old barn in Harwich and features a giant handcrafted beach chair outside its store that serves as a popular photo spot. Cape Cod Beach Chair has been featured on the Today Show, in Men's Journal, and New York Magazine, and counts clients from the Mediterranean to Hawaii. The brand often shares seasonal beach imagery on Instagram to celebrate coastal living.
