New York City was treated to an incredible sunset on Friday night, with the sky exploding into deep shades of red, orange and pink across the skyline. The dramatic display came as a powerful nor’easter approached the region. Similar vivid skies were photographed across the Northeast, with pink and purple hues also reported in Connecticut ahead of the storm.
