Enjoy the Nostalgia🙃@enjoythenostalgia 2000s kids and CBBC was a whole era of British childhood television. Coming home from school and turning on BBC One or CBBC meant getting Horrid Henry, Tracy Beaker, The Story of Tracy Beaker, The Sarah Jane Adventures, The Basil Brush Show, MI High and The Dumping Ground, alongside countless other shows that became part of the daily routine. What made CBBC so nostalgic was how familiar everything felt. The presenters, theme songs, CBBC website, studio links and the feeling of waiting for your favourite show to come on all became part of growing up in the UK. For 2000s kids, CBBC wasn’t just something you watched after school; it was part of the routine that made childhood feel like childhood.
