On 25 September, @simoneri and @messinaloris presented their debut collection for @moschino at Milan Fashion Week. At the show, hundreds of people walked down the runway in the opposite direction from the models. It reflected the duo’s idea that fashion is not just for special people, but for everyone, every day. They presented looks that feel wearable in real life while carrying forward the rebellious and satirical spirit of Franco Moschino. The collection featured basic pieces and refined silhouettes, brought to life with a bold colour palette, exaggerated shapes and playful graffiti T-shirts. The duo brought a sense of realism to Moschino, playing with the rules and adding playful touches that made the collection fun and eye-catching. As an editor who likes clothes that feel wearable while still having a strong sense of brand identity, I found this collection simple yet convincing, and it kept me looking. @nicoletta_castiglione Moschino penso che sia uno degli stilisti più difficili da poter interpretare, perché ci vuole una cosa fondamentale l'ironia che non tutti hanno la giocosità e una parte anche molto infantile i bambini dentro di noi. A volte certi nomi andrebbero lasciati stare.
