Baller Alert@balleralert Sen. Tommy Tuberville took an unexpected detour during a Senate floor speech, warning about what he called the “furry community” working in aviation. Tuberville claimed that “many airline pilots, flight attendants, and air traffic controllers” are furries before adding, “Lord help us. It’s terrifying when you think about this.” He went even further, saying passengers could potentially have a pilot with what he described as a “deranged fetish of dressing up like an animal.” Tuberville did not provide evidence that participation in furry culture poses any threat to aviation safety. We have officially reached the “furries are flying the planes” portion of political discourse. What do y’all make of this?

@shundrail1 I probably know about 5000 flight attendant and maybe about 2000 pilots. And neither of them are part of the furry community. Reminding you all that jumpseat confessionals is very real. We tell each other, some of the craziest things about our lives.
