Toronto Culture@toronto.culture GO train service between Mimico and Exhibition stations has been suspended after a pedestrian was struck by a train Friday morning in Toronto’s west end. The incident happened before 6 a.m., with emergency crews responding west of Exhibition GO. Commuters are being warned of significant delays, cancellations and service changes while the investigation continues. GO Transit is advising passengers travelling through Mimico, Long Branch and Exhibition to use the TTC as an alternative. @bbrody.27 I'm so over taking the train to work constant delays weekly barely any parking at Oshawa. But yes let's increase fines for people who aren't smoking fentanyl on the train. Great job metrolinx

@evillasagna I once saw people go on the tracks to save a family of ducks. Thankfully, the train was late that day.

@theaccidentalartist Bad sign of our society when people feel this is the only way out. I know it hasn’t been confirmed yet but it is a real possibility. Things are grim for many and the world situation isn’t helping.
