A huge win for nurses, patients, and the Lewiston community: CMMC nurses voted overwhelmingly to join the Maine State Nurses Association! After enduring an appalling union-busting campaign—including the firing or suspension of at least 20 of their colleagues—these nurses refused to be intimidated. They stood together for safer staffing, better equipment, and a meaningful voice on the job. I’m proud to stand with them. Now, Prime Healthcare must respect workers’ rights and bargain in good faith. Congratulations, CMMC nurses! When we fight, we win. #Solidarity ✊
