LOCAL NOR'EASTER IMPACTS — Here's a quick overview of what to expect in Vermont and New York this weekend: For northern areas, the weekend will be breezy but mostly dry! Plan for plenty of clouds and some passing showers on Sunday. Farther south, more persistent showers and gusts approaching 40 mph... this could result in a few power outages and notable leaf drop in the mountains. Bigtime impacts (55+ mph winds, flooding) are confined to the coast.
