Portharcourthawties Blog@portharcourthawties__ Rivers Police Extends Tinted Glass Enforcement To Oct 31 The Rivers State Police Command has extended the deadline for enforcement against unauthorized tinted glasses on commercial vehicles to *October 31, 2026. Police spokesperson, Blessing Agabe, said the extension followed appeals from transport union leaders to give operators more time to comply. She warned that from November 1, 2026, violators will face sanctions, and directed Area Commanders and DPOs to ensure strict but lawful enforcement. The Command also reiterated that tricycles (Keke) must not operate beyond 10pm, and warned officers against extortion, saying erring officers will be disciplined.
