Smash Da Topic@smashdatopic DeSoto, TX — DeSoto Police are investigating a homicide after 36-year-old Josephus Sanders was shot Thursday morning in the 1500 block of Killdee Court. Police say residential surveillance video appears to show Sanders walking down the street when 32-year-old Joseph Bryant approached him. After a brief verbal exchange, Bryant is seen firing at Sanders from close range before leaving in a vehicle. Investigators say the two men lived on the same street, knew each other and had been involved in an ongoing dispute. About 90 minutes later, Bryant returned to the scene at the request of police and surrendered with assistance from family members. He has been charged with Murder and is being held at the DeSoto Regional Jail awaiting arraignment. Source: DeSoto Police Department
