After years of being overlooked, mold is finally getting national attention. 👀 I’ve spent years warning families about what can be hiding inside our homes and how mold exposure can affect our health. This conversation is long overdue. Swipe through, then take a closer look at what could be hiding in your home. 🌿 #FaithBasedWellness #ChristianWellness #ShemaneNugent #HealthyHome

@stayingaware2024 My family was injured by toxic mold. It injured all of us, but I focus on my youngest because she has the most severe symptoms. Mold toxicity, Lyme Disease, Bartonella and Babesia stole my daughter’s childhood. She was 100% neurotypical until she turned 10. She was bubbly, joyful and charismatic, had tons of friends, she was very athletic, and loved her life. When we moved into our new home in 2018, my then seven year old happily skipped into the front doors filled with hope and joy. Just a mere seven years later, we rolled that same child out of that house in a wheelchair. Our dreams for her life and future were shattered. I share our story to hopefully save at least one other family from having to live this same nightmare. We took her to multiple ERs and specialists, and instead of digging deeper into why my baby couldn’t walk at times, they all gave her a Functional Neurological Disorder diagnosis. One of the pediatricians in the practice we go to said to us, “she has the power to control what is happening to her.” That was such a slap in the face after all of her suffering and our hours of research at home (which they dismissed). When we were home (and indoors) 24-7 from March 2020-2021 (and unknowingly breathing in mycotoxins) she changed into a different person overnight in April 2021. She walked up the stairs to go to bed one night the child that we knew, and the next morning came down a completely different child. She began speaking and acting robotically. She stopped moving her arms when she walked and became very uncoordinated. Her facial expressions became unchanged. She had severe sensory issues. She forgot how to socialize or be around people. We could no longer hug her. Her nervous system was and still is completely dysregulated. She has to wear noise-canceling headphones at all times in public because one loud noise can cause such negative reactions in her body that she will need to recuperate in a dark and quiet room for hours after. She socially and behaviorally regressed, and now at 15 is really struggling socially, mentally and physically. Her brain is on fire. 😢

@brandi_bischoff_333 One of the factors that destroyed a little baby’s health I know in addition to lymes disease. Another government cover up/bio weapon. Our government is absolutely evil and not guarding its citizens against illness. They are causing it.

@tmartin3phd PERSONAL EXPERIENCE As a senior, and master competitive weightlifter who competed at national and international championship levels until car wreck injuries, and as a patient living with asthma, allergies, 16+ functional-health challenges and partial-mobility challenges, I learned: You can’t manage what you don’t monitor. I monitor temperature, humidity, CO₂, VOC indicators and airborne particles in real time. My personal health and performance-supportive target zone is approximately 68–72°F, ~50% RH, CO₂ below 600 ppm, VOC indicators below 250 ppb, and particulate matter at zero or as low as reasonably achievable. Monitoring helps me identify changing conditions and make informed decisions about fresh-air ventilation, filtration, purification and further investigation. PUBLIC-POLICY REQUEST You can’t manage what you fail to mandate. Require measured ventilation and appropriate indoor-environment monitoring in publicly funded housing, buildings, schools and athletic facilities. Expand qualified outdoor monitoring in busy neighborhoods, traffic corridors, construction zones and other higher-exposure areas, measuring pollutants relevant to local sources. Establish science-based standards and protocols, publicly report the data, verify actual occupied conditions and require corrective action when applicable standards aren’t met. Measure the invisible. Reduce avoidable triggers. Protect people before problems develop. Mandate it. Monitor it. Verify it. Disclose it.
