Andrea Lewis@andrealewis A carnival of femininity! 🌸✨ I recently had the incredible honor of being recognized at the UNCF Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Luncheon in North Carolina @uncfnorthcarolina , and the experience reminded me that beauty is connection and sometimes that connection comes with a fabulous hat! I’ve never seen so many beautiful hats and fascinators in one room. From elaborate florals to sculptural designs, it was a celebration of personal style, Black womanhood and the joy of getting dressed. I even found my own orange floral fascinator at the event’s vendor market, thanks to @crownsofluxurybyabena What I loved most was seeing glamour become part of a larger tradition of sisterhood, philanthropy and celebrating women’s achievements, all while supporting educational opportunities for the next generation.
