News 3 Las Vegas@news3lv The Southern Nevada Health District is reporting the first flu-related death of the 2026-27 season in Clark County. Officials said the person was a man in his 50s who had underlying health conditions. “On behalf of the Health District, I extend my deepest condolences to his family and friends,” District Health Officer Dr. Cassius Lockett said. “Flu causes serious illness and deaths every year.
