@cassaundragraves I live in North Georgia, and I really wish more of us would move out this way. 😢 I’m looking for land too, but I’ll be honest… thinking about my safety sometimes makes me hesitant. What really caught my attention while researching is learning how much land in this area was once owned and farmed by Black families. That history made me look at this whole area differently. I would love to see more of us reclaiming space, buying land, building, farming, and creating community out this way.
@clh5 I went to the restroom at a farmer’s market in Ellijay & a white woman refused to go in the stall after me when she saw I was Black. Nearby Chatsworth, I was almost run off the road – purposefully – by a white man in an F-250 after leaving a wedding. That’s Marjorie Taylor Greene’s constituency up there & they are unwell. Consider looking south of Atlanta.

@jjanney Rydal, GA. You can see the mountains from there. Right next to Cartersville. It’s north of ATL. Which makes it easier to get out of GA. Lol My brother just built there. It’s beautiful.

@dannyjones547 For some reason, you keep going North of I 20 and expect something different. South Fulton, Henry County, Douglas. North Georgia is beautiful and there are some good people, but my pattern recognition brands most as not good people.
