Anthony Mackie is an American actor best known for playing Sam Wilson, also known as Captain America, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He first appeared as Sam Wilson in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in 2014. Mackie officially took over the Captain America mantle in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. He starred as the lead in Captain America: Brave New World in 2025. Outside Marvel, he has appeared in movies like 8 Mile, The Hurt Locker, and Pain & Gain.
