Also highlighted: mountain areas of central and southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico, along with an above-average band near portions of the Northeast coast. That bright PINK means much above your LOCAL snowfall average. It doesn’t mean Texas gets more snow than Michigan—and it doesn’t predict how many inches your backyard will receive.
