The DMV Daily@thedmvdaily More than 160 golf carts were damaged Thursday morning after a fire broke out at a commercial golf cart business in Brandywine. Prince George’s County Fire and EMS crews responded around 6:33 a.m. to United Metro Golf Cart in the 15200 block of Crain Highway. Firefighters arrived to find more than 30 golf carts on fire, with flames spreading to additional carts and a nearby office. Crews from Prince George’s and Charles counties responded, with more than 30 firefighters and additional water tankers requested. Firefighters worked for more than an hour to extinguish the blaze. The fire ultimately damaged more than 160 golf carts, along with a vehicle and trailer on the property. No injuries were reported. The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation. The business, United Metro Golf Cart, is located at 15212 Crain Highway and provides golf cart sales, rentals, service and parts. 🎥: @chefanthonydc 📸: Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department
