As an elder millennial woman, I guarantee you that nobody ever talked about perimenopause/menopause—> ever. 🆘Unfortunately, that led to many of us who are now going through it, feeling completely clueless throughout the process. But we can change that now. ✅If you’re looking for a menopause provider I highly recommend @gonovelhealth - I see @danielleleveckdnp and she’s been phenomenal and truly cares about my concerns and the long term picture! 📍The more we share our experiences, the more conversations we have, the better off we will all be. Educate yourself, talk about it with the women in your life, and prepare yourself. . . Perimenopause awareness month, perimenopause support, what are the symptoms of perimenopause, what are the symptoms of menopause, am I too young for menopause, at what age does perimenopause start, perimenopause symptoms, how to treat perimenopause symptoms

@shaunamrn I feel like with PCOS/PMOS I've been dealing with most perimenopausal symptoms from over 20 years when not pregnant or breastfeeding. Now at 46, I just want the horrific periods to STOP.

@khattakcouture Can vouch for this! Have low ovarian reserve and hx of endometriosis- started showing signs of perimenopause in past 2-3 mos. That freaked me out! Got on topical HRT and I’m also taking progesterone. It’s a day and night difference! I have energy and feel young again!

@amythegoodnurse I wish I had known this when my symptoms started in my 30s. I was dealing with other health issues at the time and working night shift so I didn’t see it. By 43 my periods were gone, I had severe depression brain fog and I had gained 50 pounds. It took a few years before I truly understood how devastating early menopause was to my body. I’m in my 60s now and wish I had known you then! Thank you for educating so many women! 😘🦋

@nurseelaine_rn17 Absolutely!!! I had to get a hysterectomy bc of my fibroids and found out after the fact I had adenomyosis. Back pain, fatigue, brain fog, sex drive .. trash. I tried HRT and before I had my hysterectomy, I bled for weeks. I found out later that I was estrogen dominant.. when it disappeared I felt like garbage
