Impressed isn’t the word for it Mari. I dropped by the Strumm’s construction site last night and I could already picture the place full of people, the band playing and friends shouting to be heard over a song they all know by heart. People have been waiting for Strumm’s to return since the pandemic. It was a stalwart of the music scene in Makati for years. You can tell how much people miss it, the last time I posted photos of the interior, they drew 85,000 views. For a construction site! 😂 And if anyone can bring Strumm’s back the right way, it’s Mari Lagdameo. He has earned the respect of musicians and people across the industry because he knows the music, cares about the artists and knows how to make an audience feel at home. There’s still work to do, but it’s looking good. Mari says one month to go. Judging by the excitement, a lot of us are already making plans for opening night. 😃😃
