The disgraced movie mogul's sentencing took place Wednesday in a New York federal court, one year after he was convicted of a first-degree criminal sexual act stemming from the assault of former production assistant Miriam Haley in 2006. Weinstein was initially given a 23-year sentence for a 2020 conviction of rape and sexual assault charges, but the case was overturned four years later.
