@carmillasbones gotta start making and shaming men and their whole families who enable misogynistic behaviour so everyone knows who to avoid. ideally, avoiding all men is the best, but there definitely should be permanent accessible records.

@pritish_bhanushali Its not moral policing, its blatant sexual harassment. Its the very entitlement of men that only they can decide who a woman chooses to be with, and not the woman. The very thought that she even has a choice rattles the the ego of men. And then they come to the classic tactic of control - sexual violence. Give it a name of moral policing, and somehow not many questions it, because the narrative of women not having a choice is so strongly spread, that these so called names given to sexual violence have become normal for the society.

@sumicardinale THANK YOU! This is what i did. Im a 60 year old Indian woman.At 19, i walked out of every family memembers life with no contact, every friend or ralive or communities life that enabled this in any way. I Got my own apartment and didi life MY WAY. I wore what i wanted, i chose the career i wanted, i got marreid when i wanted, i divorced him when i wanted. I refused to have anyone in my life that was unsupportive or cotrolling or enabled misogyny in any form.NO REGRETS.

@sudi_ku It's not just men, it's older women too. I have seen a family where the son because he lived away from the mother he believes more in equality and equal rights. However, the mother still bashes young women for wearing what they want, working and wanting equal rights. She believes a woman and her parents should be allowed to be trampled on because she is a daughter and should hold lower position in the social hierarchy.
