🥋 Bājíquán is a reminder that power isn't always created by having more room to move. Known for explosive short-range techniques, Bājíquán uses rooted footwork, sudden stomping actions and coordinated movement through the hips, torso, shoulders and elbows. Instead of relying only on a long wind-up, the body works as one connected structure to generate force from surprisingly little distance. That principle is one reason Bājíquán looks so different from many of the flowing martial arts people immediately associate with traditional Chinese Kung Fu. It can appear compact and simple until the movement explodes. Sometimes the most interesting martial arts aren't about doing more. They're about wasting less. Which style should ZenFu break down next: Wing Chun, Silat, Kalaripayattu or Taekkyeon? #Bajiquan #KungFu #ChineseMartialArts #MartialArts #ZenFu
