It has been great to spend time with my mentor & friend @samuelleeds here in Dallas, Texas 🇺🇸 I met Samuel for the first time 5 years ago today. I remember being 19 years old in a room of a few hundred people thinking this is it, property is what I want to do. It was a tough start. No deal to talk about first 6 months. But I kept chipping away at it. Eventually came property no.1 and now I’ve managed 25 SAs, working on getting my first BRRR over the line 🏚️🛠️ When I got myself a mentor and invested into joining the training, people almost managed to convince me that I made a massive mistake and that I wasted money. They also almost convinced me that leaving my Medical studies would be a bad decision. But I walked on the path by faith. Not only have I managed to grow a successful business but through this journey, I’ve been given so many exposure opportunities by Samuel: Winners on a Wednesday #201 The Eviction 2022 (Candidate) The Property Tour 2025 Success stories 2025 Dubai documentary Debate with Gary Economics The Eviction 2026 USA (Judge / Mentor) People told me all I needed was YouTube. But YouTube doesn’t give you opportunities like these nor does it give you the connections and relationships I’ve built with some genuinely incredible people over the years. If there’s one piece of advice I’d give to anyone starting out, it’s to find yourself a mentor. Someone you genuinely look up to, whose values and vision align with yours and who has already achieved what you’re working towards. Invest in yourself, remain loyal, put in the work and give the relationship time to grow. You never know what doors it might open for you. 5 years later, I’m grateful I made that decision. Here’s to the next 5🥂
