Thank you to Assemblymember Mike Fong for championing AB 2466, now signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom! 🎉 Cerritos College was proud to co-sponsor this legislation to expand paid work-based learning opportunities for California community college students. AB 2466 allows Strong Workforce Program resources to better support students and employers participating in paid work-based learning—helping more students gain hands-on experience, build career connections, and prepare for high-demand fields. We are excited to see this important step forward in connecting education, workforce preparation, and economic opportunity for our students. 🎓💼
