Before: T. Hunt After: T. Carmack 909 — After losing both of her spring cubs, she returned to the river and rebuilt her winter reserves. Before: T. Hunt After: T. Carmack 910 — Known for repeatedly lifting her head while fishing at Brooks Falls. Before: T. Hunt After: C. Loberg Chunk — The defending champion is back after recovering from a broken jaw in 2025. Before: @explore.org After: C. Loberg Backpack — Named after riding on her mom Holly’s back as a cub. Before: C. Loberg After: @explore.org Walker — Once a playful young bear, he’s now defending his place among the bigger males. Before: T. Hunt After: C.
