They’re simple tools, but they remove a surprising amount of friction. That’s what makes this corner of the web worth keeping around. You don’t need another app, login, dashboard, or AI assistant for every tiny task. Sometimes the best tool is still a strange little website someone built years ago that opens instantly, does exactly what you came for, and gets out of the way.

@_duckshow_ I would add ezgif.com - it gives you tons of different tools for creating and editing gifs and videos. Perfect when you want to reduce a video's filesize, turn a video into a gif, crop or trim, etc
@jessica_j1990 My fridge food, we see that all day, every social media influencer that has a cooking channel, is always creating something that they've got with leftovers in their fridge although I don't see too many people having the leftovers they claim things like prosciutto, black truffles unless you're some sort of ultra foodie. And God forbid should it be some Midwestern person from Wisconsin God only knows what she's Laden condensed cream of something soup based casserole you're about to get😂
