Always meet your heroes. 🌿 SO grateful to the legendary anthropologist and ethnobotanist Wade Davis for guiding our NYC community through the life, legacy, and extraordinary journeys of Richard Evans Schultes, a pivotal figure in the history of psychedelics. An enormous thank you to Lightning Society for welcoming us into their gorgeous space and giving us a home for an evening of psychedelic history, storytelling, culture, and community. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful backdrop for this conversation. Endless gratitude to our incredible team for Assembling early, staying late, moving a mountain of chairs, and working so hard behind the scenes to pull the whole thing off. We 💛 you! And finally, thank you to every single person who came out for this (from near and far.) Whenever we meet someone who tells us they flew in all the way in from another state just to attend one of our offerings, it makes us feel like we’re maybe on the right path. 🙏
