A little help around the home, and a lot of warmth along the way. Our NTUC Care team joined our NTUC and Punggol Shore youths spent the day with some of our seniors living alone, helping with the chores that can become harder with age — cleaning, packing and freshening up their homes. But what I loved most wasn't the cleaning. It was the laughter, conversations and new friendships along the way. Sometimes, showing up and spending a little time together can brighten a home just as much as a good spring clean. A big thank you to our young volunteers and the NTUC Care team for bringing your energy and heart into our seniors' homes. And to our seniors, thank you for welcoming us in.
