@alexchristian.storyteller Love love love this! Something similar happened with me and my boy Kota. Work was just…well terrible. And I wasn’t doing well financially. I just needed puppy therapy that day, so usually I’d go and volunteer at the SPCA or something, but I decided to go to a local adoption event at a Petsmart. I had zero intention of adopting. Well this curious little black puppy caught my attention. I sat down and he immediately came and slept in my lap. We sat there on the floor of @petsmart for 2 hours. Eventually I had to go home, but my heart knew. My wallet didn’t though and I was crushed. I was in no position to take care of a dog. Just as I prayed “God please send me a sign I’m supposed to take him home”, my boss walks in and says “Just want you to know you’ve been doing a good job. Here’s a bonus”. And it was sizeable. Enough for me to go and adopt him at the end of the week. Fast forward 13 years later, I’m married, and we have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and they a house and a yard to call their own. 🐕🦺🐕🐈⬛🐈 My heart is full ❤️

@primeranox My cat saved me. She was pure, stoic wise and protective. She would bring a level of energy and presence with her everywhere she went. She was my angel and my everything. Miss you so much my pebbles every night I look for you in the stars🥹❤️
