Shreyovi Mehta is a young wildlife photographer from India whose remarkable talent has earned international recognition at an early age. At just nine years old, she became the runner-up in the "10 Years and Under" category of the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition with her photograph In the Spotlight. The image captures the silhouettes of two peahens beneath a canopy of trees, surrounded by the golden morning mist of Keoladeo National Park. She photographed the spontaneous scene from a low angle while on a family walk, using her father's professional camera. The result was a striking composition that impressed judges with its atmosphere, timing, and perspective. Her success continued the following year with two additional "Highly Commended" awards for Height Advantage and Wetland Spat, further establishing her as one of the most promising young wildlife photographers in the world.
