Erik Schwab@saltyvisionz AND... WE ARE OFF! 🚀 Despite not really wanting it to end, "Summer Break" has come and gone, and another school year is in swing. My 16th as a teacher! 🤪 I'm a little late to the back to school party, but I want to wish all students, teachers, parents, admin and support staff back for the 2026-27 school year with a special thanks to custodial for getting the schools all squeaky clean for us over the Summer! Genuinely excited for a fresh start with a new group of students to inspire, challenge and teach about the wonders of our beautiful planet 🌏 It has been a while since I've checked in here, so I'm starting it back up with a little Summer photo recap... (With the exception of that first one which is a personal favorite from a September to remember back in 2019?) That's gotta be a fun ride in a school bus!! I may not have been posting on here much, but I never stopped shooting 📸 This September is one to remember too, just not for the right reasons... Thanks El Nino 👎🏻🌀🚫⛈️ I am still hopeful SOMETHING will pop up; otherwise let's get the transition underway and bring on those coastal lows! I do feel some kind of shift happening...🍂🍁 These crispy mornings on the back porch with ☕️ are 🤌🏻 Summer recap: Wildy busy. All good things. Consider this a warmup post. Been working on some things and excited to share here. With the Summer season winding down, I want to thank all of my surf lesson clients that spent hours with me in the ocean this Summer. I hope I inspired you and pushed you to a higher level in your surf journey. To all of you that bought artwork from me: THANK YOU for believing in my vision. The greatest compliment you can give an artist, is putting their art on your wall. I can't wait to share what is coming... And lastly, to my surf clients and art collectors who have become more than just clients. You are incredible humans and I am lucky to call many of you my friends. I wouldn't be where I am today without your support and generosity through the years. THANK YOU. ❤️ I hope everyone enjoys and takes advantage of these last few days of Summer!! 🌞 ⛱️ Which 📸 is your favorite!?!
