(Part 2) - Visit to Blk 258 : Tues 15 Sept 26 Thanks to residents for their feedback, support and kind hospitality. We were also well nourished by residents offer of beverages in the course of our visit. Many have stayed here for a long time and all agree their home is in a great location served by comprehensive amenities with fabulous connectivity. The recent completion of the Home Improvement Program was also well received. One key municipal issue which we need to work on is the presence of birds and the unintended disamenities it is causing to some residents. This is a common problem faced by many in different parts of Singapore and not an easy issue to resolve. We will try our best to see what can be done going forward . A highlight for me at this visit was meeting some very young residents including a 3 day old baby… and also many familiar faces that I meet in the town centre during my weekly walkabouts but this time at their homes.
