I'm fortunate to get to test a lot of gear before it's officially available to the public, but I can't remember the last time a product got me as excited as these two. Introducing the all new @sonyalpha 400mm f/4.5 GM and 600mm f/6.3 GM. Two telephoto primes with G-Master quality in a package that's so compact and lightweight it feels like you're hallucinating when you hold them. I was able to fit BOTH lenses plus two bodies in a backpack for a hike (proof at the end of the carousel), and IBIS was so good I literally never once put either of these on a tripod. Insane. Genuinely insane. The answer to all my "I like to hike and photograph wildlife" prayers is finally here.
