Nova Scotia Government@nsgov Beginning this week, Nova Scotia Sheriff Services will switch their current grey uniform shirt to a midnight blue version. During the transition, people may see Sheriff Officers wearing either shirt, until the move is completed by mid-fall. A Sheriff Officer can be identified by the shoulder flash saying Nova Scotia Sheriff Services and by the gold “Sheriff” wording on the front and back of body armour.

@primeusinterparus interesting, in consideration of the mass casualty event and the police impersonation issue why you would wish to have an official govt non police personnel further confusing the general public a situation that could easily be manipulated by someone with sinister motives

@tina.capalbo.writes It doesn’t look better or more functional. How much did this cost us? I ask because you decided to spend our money this way in lieu of funding our libraries or Arts & Culture programs. 😒

@gregmonette Why is anyone complaining about this? It’s not costing anymore. Their uniforms are already provided. Just changing the colour of the shirt.
