From the beginning I’ve been showing my images to get feedback, at first with an experienced photographer when I just started out (“why is there a tree sticking out of your subject’s head??”) . And now I send every image I consider good to friend photographers, artists, photo editors and even my parents. Sometimes they simply say it’s not good enough: too boring, I should get closer, different angle etc. . It can be harsh to hear criticism but in the end it always helped me to make a bigger effort on the street, to stay an hour longer, to take that one scary step closer. . It helps me to get better. . And therefore I’ve included an option for a group video feedback session in the course . You’ll get a better understanding of how to capture situations in the way you want, and you’ll know what to focus on the next time you go out to photograph. .
